Questions
About 8-4-4.
Which programmes do you teach?
CBC, 8-4-4 for Forms 3 and 4, an international foundation programme for Years 8 and 9, and IGCSE and A Level with both Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel.
What is the difference between Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel?
They are different examination boards with different syllabuses and papers. We teach each separately. Choose the board your child will be examined by.
Is 8-4-4 still available?
Yes, for Forms 3 and 4. The final 8-4-4 examination year is 2027, so the programme ends after that.
How does the subscription work?
Choose a curriculum subscription. It opens every published course in that curriculum, or subscribe to a single course. You renew with a tap, and we never charge you without your action.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, a full refund if you ask within 48 hours and have not opened any course content. Time already used is not refundable.
How do live classes work?
Your teacher schedules live sessions inside each course. Students join from their timetable, reminders go out by SMS, and every session is recorded to watch again afterwards.
Does a student need their own phone number?
You need an email or a phone number. If you do not have your own, a parent or guardian's works.
Do you run the examinations?
No. Zaiqa is not an examination centre and does not enter students for examinations. Students enter KCSE, IGCSE and A Level examinations through an authorised centre or their school; Zaiqa teaches the programme and prepares them for it.
